Refresh Rate
High refresh rate over 1920Hz and even up to 7680Hz, and eliminates module flicker problems.
GOB LED display screens stand for “Glue On Board” LED display technology. It is an innovative product in the field of LED display technology. This technology has been specially designed for enhanced protection and durability. The glue used for this purpose is transparent and optical-grade. This glue is used across the entire surface of the LED display module. This glue is used for filling the gaps between the LEDs. This provides enhanced protection for the display from water, dust, and other physical damages.
Ultra high protective GOB LED display with P1.8, P1.5, P1.6, P1.25, p2, P2.5, P3, P4, and P5 GOB LED screen available, high performance with good visual effects for all kinds of LED display.

The GOB LED display offers outstanding color consistency and wide viewing angles, ensuring vibrant and uniform display quality from nearly any perspective. With their high-level protection, these LED screens are particularly suited for easy transportation, minimizing the risk of damage during transit. This robust design significantly reduces the likelihood of LED lamp bead damage, making them both reliable and durable for various applications.
The GOB and SMD LED displays are widely used in many applications. However, they have some differences as follows:
| Feature | GOB LED Display | SMD LED Display |
| Protection Level | High protection (waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant) | Lower protection, more vulnerable to environmental factors |
| Viewing Angle | Wide viewing angles, up to 170° horizontally and vertically | Typically narrower viewing angles |
| Durability | Highly durable, resistant to damage during transport | Less durable, prone to damage during handling and transport |
| Visual Quality | Excellent color consistency and reduced glare | May have more glare and less uniform color distribution |
| Anti-Oxidation | High resistance to oxidation | More susceptible to oxidation over time |
| Application Environments | Suitable for harsh and varied environments | Better for controlled indoor settings |
| Cost | Generally more expensive due to advanced protection | Typically less expensive, but with fewer protective features |
| Maintenance | Lower maintenance needs due to enhanced protection | Higher maintenance requirements due to exposure risks |
| LED Damage Risk | Minimal risk of LED lamp bead damage | Higher risk of damage to LED lamp beads |
GOB LED displays have a glue layer encapsulation over the SMD LED panels, manufactured by SMD LED display modules, which provides better protection against external factors such as water and dust. This quality makes GOB versions more durable and resistant to adverse conditions than traditional SMD, which lacks significant protective features.
LED light sensors automatically adapt LED screen brightness according to environment brightness and fulfill human eye requirements.
Made with first-class driver ICs ICN2037, ICN2038S, ICN2153, 2046, 2049, 6363, etc.
High refresh rate over 1920Hz and even up to 7680Hz, and eliminates module flicker problems.
Ultra High Moisture-proof, Waterproof, Anti-collision to protect the LED bead.
High contrast ratio of 5000:1 adds depth and dimension to every frame.
160 viewing angles to minimize viewing blind spots and maximize visual coverage.
The Traditional LED displays are susceptible to environmental attacks such as water, dust, and accidental contact. GOB technology is safer with its highly protective glue-layer cover, making the display highly dependable.
GOB LED displays are protected against water, moisture, dust, impact, corrosion, blue light, salt spray, & static electricity. This makes them suitable for outdoor and rough environments where normal LED displays would be faulty.
The protective layer formed by the glue on the LED surface lowers the possibility of damage while installation, transport, and application, resulting in greater lifespan for the LED display.
GOB technology transforms the LED surface from a point source of light to a surface source of light, improving brightness uniformity and smoother display quality.
GOB stands for “Glue On Board,” which refers to the process of applying a transparent glue on the surface of the LED module. Generally we call these modules as GOB LED modules.
| Feature | GOB LED Screen | COB LED Screen |
| Structure | Glue layer over LED chips for added protection | LED chips directly on board, smooth surface |
| Protection | High protection: moisture, dust, shock, UV resistant | Moderate protection against environmental damage |
| Thermal Management | Enhanced heat dissipation due to glue layer | Efficient thermal management with chip-on-board setup |
| Maintenance | Easier, less costly maintenance | Difficult, costly due to complex repairs |
| Viewing Experience | Excellent viewing angle and consistency | May experience inconsistencies and granularity |
| Manufacturing | More complex production process | Simpler production but higher potential manufacturing costs |
Similar to the SMD LED module, the LED GOB display also has synchronous and asynchronous control methods:
GOB LED displays are normally much more expensive compared to SMD LED displays because of their complicated manufacturing processes and advanced protective features. The price is different depending on various screen sizes, cabinet types, LED brands, pixel pitches, power suppliers, etc.
